Shipping Information

Due to the Canada Post strike that is now in effect, all orders will be shipped with UPS until the strike has been resolved and services resume.

All orders are made and shipped from Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.

 
We offer free shipping on all knife and pen orders. Canada Post is our default shipping option, as they offer the best rates for shipping domestically and internationally and have the widest coverage in terms of available shipping destinations. For international orders, packages are transferred to the destination country’s postal service upon arrival to the destination country.
 
Customers also have the option of having their Grimsmo Knives products shipped via UPS in selected locations. UPS shipping rates are higher than postal service rates and are included in the cost of the order at checkout. Orders shipped through UPS may be susceptible to duties, brokerage and sales tax in accordance with the destination country’s applicable laws and regulations. By opting to ship through UPS, the customer understands that they are responsible for paying any import costs to the shipping carrier, such as duties, import taxes, or brokerage/disbursement fees upon delivery.
 
All of our products are available by shipment only (there are no physical/in-store pickups).
 
All knives shipping to the United States using Canada Post no longer require a signature on delivery. All knife orders shipping to any other international country will require a signature on delivery. You can request to not have a signature on delivery by sending us an email at support@fullgrimsmo.com. 
 
*All knife and pen orders shipped with UPS require a signature on delivery due to the value of the package, this cannot be changed.
 
Guide Shipping Protection
Guide Shipping Protection is an optional service that Grimsmo Knives now offers on all orders made through our online store. Guide provides protection for shipments that are damaged, lost, or stolen. PROCESSING TIMES

 

Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible.
Shipping times depend on your location. Orders with a shipping destination with North America typically arrive within 5-14 business days. Orders travelling outside of North America are subject to longer shipping times, and may incur additional processing times when crossing international borders.

 

IMPORT FEES

 

Canada Post Shipments
There are no import fees for shipping to Canada or the United States when using Canada Post/United States Postal Service. Other countries may have various import laws. Please check the import laws and applicable import rates of the country you wish to have your product shipped to before purchasing. 

UPS
Orders shipped through UPS may be susceptible to duties, brokerage and sales tax in accordance with the destination country’s applicable laws and regulations. By opting to ship through UPS, the customer understands that they are responsible for paying any import costs to the shipping carrier, such as duties, import taxes, or brokerage/disbursement fees upon delivery.
We DO NOT cover import fees on delivery. If there is an issue with the product and it has to be returned and/or refunded for any reason, we DO NOT refund import fees.
 
The declared value on each package will be in Canadian dollars. We convert every order to closely match the price in US dollars. We will not undervalue any package under any circumstances to avoid import fees upon delivery to any international country.

Countries we do not ship KNIVES to:
United Arab Emirates
Saudi Arabia
China
Thailand
South Africa 
 
Shipments to these countries will continue to be restricted until further notice.
